Woman in Dental Chair | Dental Anxiety Relief in De Pere

Dental anxiety is a real concern for a lot of people. Because we don’t want a fear of the dentist to keep people from getting the dental care they need, FoxView Dental is happy to offer sedation dentistry in the De Pere area.

If even the thought of sedation dentistry is still worrisome, hopefully, we can provide enough information here so you will feel comfortable at your next dental appointment.

Dental Anxiety

Many people have dental anxiety because they have had a bad experience at the dentist in the past—often as far back as when they were children. One bad experience might have been followed by another, and before you know it, it’s been years since your last dental appointment.

We acknowledge that your fears are real—and valid. Rest assured that when you come to our office, you’ll deal with a team of people who are friendly and compassionate. If you’d like to get to know us before your dental appointment, we are happy to schedule a time for you to come in for a meet-and-greet. Often this is enough to waylay any fears our patients have about getting treatment.

But if it’s not, we can talk to you about sedation dentistry options.

Anxiety-Free Dentistry

Sedation is a great way to get rid of any stress you are feeling about your dental appointment. We offer oral conscious sedation that puts patients into a completely relaxed state. For those worried about “losing control,” you need not be. This sedation option keeps you relaxed but completely conscious and able to respond to questions—and even ask questions if you have them. Your time in the dental chair will go by quickly, and before you know it, you’ll be finished and ready to go back to your life.

Keep in mind, however, that because you will be medicated, you will need to have a friend or family member drive you to and from your dental appointment.

Don’t Put Off Needed Treatment Because of Anxiety

Let our caring dental team help you take good care of your oral health—as well as your anxiety. If you have questions, please don’t hesitate to give us a call.

We look forward to providing you with sedation dentistry in our De Pere dental practice. Call today to make an appointment.
