Sedation Dentistry

Sedation dentistry has helped improve the oral health of millions of people by allowing them to de-stress and get the dental care they need. If you find yourself postponing dental appointments or skipping them altogether, sedation dentistry at our De Pere dental clinic allows you to get the care you need to maintain your oral health.

Whether your dental anxiety is triggered by the sounds and smells of a dental office, injections, the sensations, or a strong gag reflex, sedation dentistry in Green Bay can help you.

When you call to arrange your appointment, let us know that you would like to try sedation dentistry. Dr. Yenchesky will prescribe an oral sedative for you to take about an hour before your procedure. The benefit is that when you arrive at Fox View Dental, you will already feel pleasantly relaxed, drowsy, and ready for your appointment.

Oral sedation won’t knock you out. You will remain fully conscious and aware, but you’ll feel very comfortable, and some of our patients get so relaxed that they even drift off to sleep.

Since the sedative remains in your system for several hours, you will need a friend or family member to drive you safely to and from your appointment. We recommend you go home and take it easy for the rest of the day while the effects wear off.

Sedation dentistry at our Green Bay dental office is a huge benefit for patients who wouldn’t otherwise be able to get the oral health care they need. If you think that a sedative would benefit you at your next appointment, please let us know. Your comfort is our priority!

dentist de pere | green bayWe know that dental anxiety prevents a lot of people from getting the routine care they need to stay healthy. At FoxView Dental, we are committed to being part of the solution instead of part of the problem.

We do things a little differently here, and those small changes lead to big benefits for our patients.

Your Comfort Comes First

For starters, we believe in treating our patients like family, and you'll see that from the first phone call. You'll be greeted and warmly welcomed. Over time, we'll get to know you and your family. You might even find that you look forward to visits to our office (and how great would that be?).

The environment of our practice was carefully designed to meet the needs of our patients and help them feel comfortable. From little details like warm blankets to bigger factors like our friendly and fun dentist, we'll make sure you are comfortable and confident from beginning to end.

And finally, if you still aren't sure, we offer sedation dentistry to help calm your nerves so you can have the relaxing visit you deserve.
